Naga City Mayor Bongat distributes allowance of CHED scholars

Naga City Mayor John Bongat has distributed the allowance of 29 students who are beneficiaries of the Tertiary Education Subsidy program of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

The 29 students received their allowance amounting to P4,000 for the month of January.

“Being beneficiaries of the Tertiary Education Subsidy program of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), these 29 students of the City College of Naga received this morning their P 4,000.00 cash allowance for the month of January, 2019,” the city government said.

The beneficiaries are:

Meanwhile, Mayor Bongat also handed the plaque of recognition to Kenji Cuadro Tate, a senior high school student of the Naga City Science High School, for bagging the championship in the DepEd 2019 National Festival of Talents Population Debates held last January 30, 2019.

The City Government of Naga, through SP Resolution No. 2019-075, congratulated and commended Tate for his achievement and bringing honor to the city.
