Daraga Mayor Baldo to meet with water utility firms to discuss lack of water supply concerns

Daraga Mayor Carlwyn “Awin” Baldo said that he has set up a meeting with water utility firms to discuss the concerns about inadequate water supply.

Mayor Baldo presided yesterday the Regular EXECOM clustered meeting at the Mayor’s Office conference room.

“To address the several concerns that are raised to my office regarding lack of water supply, I have called for a meeting with Prime Water and Daraga Water District with the hopes of finally resolving one of Daraga’s persisting problems,” said the mayor.

Meanwhile, Baldo said that he has directed the Daraga Market Department and our Public Safety Officers (PSO) to administer appropriate actions in order to maintain traffic management and orderliness.

The mayor has ordered the setting up of the necessary diagram to be followed by our fruit and vegetable vendors; same personnel, for the promotion of peace and order, were also tasked to strictly apprehend and issue tickets to violators.

“Also, for public safety especially to our motorists, cases of stray dogs causing road accidents must be prevented. In this connection, I have coordinated with the concerned persons to deliver immediate action regarding the aforementioned matter,” said Baldo.

Meanwhile, the mayor said that they have discussed security plans and preparations for the Holy Week.
