Calapan SP OKs resolutions on infra projects, barangay annual budget

The Calapan City Sangguniang Panglungsod has passed key resolutions on infrastructure programs as well as budget appropriations of several barangays.

The SP held its 120th regular session last March 5.

The first resolution approved by the SP allows Mayor Arnan Panaligan to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Mindoro State College of Agriculture and Technology (Minscat), represented by Dr. Levi B. Arago and University of the Philippines-Diliman (UPD), represented by Dr. Michael L. Tan for the conduct of the “On-the-Job Training (OJT)” program for Senior Geodetic Engineering students ng UPD.

They like wise approves the resloution authorizing the Panaligan to enter into MOA with Department of Environment and Natural Resources-MIMAROPA Region for the preparation of the City’s Forest Land Use Plan.

The council also okayed the request of Panaligan to enter into a Contract of Lease with Calapan Vendors Multi-Purpose Cooperative for the possession and occupancy of the public market comfort rooms at the Pamilihang Bayan ng Lungsod ng Calapan.

Meanwhile two infrastructure projects gets SP approval and allows the mayor to enter into a contract: 876 Construction & Supply for the construction of drainage at San Vicente North, Calapan City and Marc Jill Construction for the completion of backfilling of relocation site, Pamana ng Lungsod Relocation Site, Sitio Bulalo, Brgy. Balite, City of Calapan.

Meanwhile, the General Fund Annual Budget of 15 barangays in Calapan was approved.

These barangays are Balingayan, Bucayao, Calero, Lazareto, Mahal na Pangalan, Malad, Panggalaan, Personas, San Rafael, San Vicente East, San Vicente North, San Vicente South, Sta.Maria Village, Tawagan and Wawa.
