Keep ’em coming! Mayor Bongat receives plaque of commendation
Outgoing Naga City Mayor John Bongat has expressed his gratitude to all those who extended their appreciation for his service for nine long years.
Mayor Bongat received a plaque of commendation from the Mariners Polytechnic Colleges when he attended the latter’s anniversary celebration.
“GESTURES OF APPRECIATION KEEP COMING as my tenure as Mayor of Naga comes to an end on June 30th this year,” the mayor said.
“[T]he latest of which comes from one of the best, specialized higher educational institutions in Bicol and in the country — a simple plaque of commendation which I received last night on the occasion of their 45th Foundation Anniversary,” he said.
Mayor Bongat will step down from his post on June 30, after serving three consecutive terms.
Bongat just recently received a sculpture of a Philippine Eagle from the Federation of Philippine Eagles, Inc. Bico
“KUYA VIC AVILA, THANK YOU FOR THIS MEMENTO, a 5-kilo metal sculpture of a Philippine Eagle perched on a tree with the image of our Ina, as token of your appreciation for my service as Mayor of our beloved City of Naga for 9 years,” he said.
“Thank you to the Federation of Philippine Eagles, Inc. Bicol, headed by the ever dynamic, super dedicated president, Kuya Vic Avila…,” Bongat added.
