“Members of the PGA group also conducted free medical examination, medicine distribution, eye examination, distribution of eye glasses, and dental services,” the province said.
Bichara personally distributed nebulizer machines to the barangay captains for the use of their residents suffering from asthma.
During the event, the governor lauded the “interconnectedness” of the Provincial Social and Welfare Development Office (PWSDO) and the Provincial Health Office (PHO) headed by Ms. Eva Grageda and Dr. Antonio Ludovice, as well as all other stakeholders.
Bichara also hailed the efforts of the dictors and other medical teams who had been showing their support from the beginning.
“After addressing the attendees and ensuring the smooth flow of the mission, Governor Bichara then gathered the local leaders to discuss the needs of the local community and to develop programs and projects to address these needs,” said the province.
The said medical mission was in line with the priority of the governor to “deliver quality social and medical services to the barangays who need it the most.”
