Iwas tigdas! Daraga local gov’t initiates measles vaccination in various barangays


Daraga Mayor Carlwyn “Awin” Baldo has announced that the municipal government will conduct a measles vaccinations in various barangays.

The vaccination will be held tomorrow, February 23 and on Monday, February 25.

“To effectively address the measles outbreak in the country, RHU-Daraga will be conducting Measles Immunization in the Barangays of Daraga,” the mayor said.

Tomorrow’s immunization program will be held in Barangays Ilawod, Cullat, and Gapo. On Monday, it will be held in Brgy. Busay.

“We will be posting the remaining schedule in the succeeding days,” the mayor said

“For further inquiry, kindly coordinate with the concerned personnel in your Barangay,” he added.

The Department of Health recently declared measles outbreak in various parts of the country. The national government also appealed to the parents to vaccinate their kids.

“This is LGU-Daraga’s response to the people’s call for a better, healthy and disease-free community,” Baldo said.
