Palawan gov’t brings campaign vs illegal drugs in schools through information drive

The Palawan provincial government has brought its campaign against illegal drugs in various schools in the province.

The province’s Community Enhancement and Livelihood Program (CELP) spearheaded the Anti-Illegal Drugs School Information Education Campaign (IEC) in San Francisco Javier College in Narra town, and Palawan State University in Bataraza.

“Pangunahing layunin ng programa ng pamahalaang panlalawigan ng Palawan sa pamamagitan ng Community Enhancement and Livelihood Program (CELP) na magkaroon ng malawak na kaalaman ang mga kabataan sa masamang epekto ng ipinagbabawal na gamot sa buhay ng isang kabataan,” the province explained.

“Isa sa mga tinalakay sa pagtuturo sa mga kabataan ay kung paano magkaroon ng maayos na relasyon sa pamilya, maalis ang depresyon,tamang paggamit ng teknolohiya lalo na ang social media at higit sa lahat magkaroon ng maayos na direksyon ang buhay at makaiwas sa droga,” it added.

The participants likewise showed their skills in role playing, slogan making, on the-spot painting as wells as poem writing.

Over 400 students joined the last Information Education Campaign held the two schools.

The CELP IEC Team will also conduct similar campaign in other schools in Palawan.
