Masbate Rep. Lanete moves to convert Salvacion High School in Palanas into a national high school

Masbate Rep. Scott Lanete is pushing to convert a secondary school in Palanas town into a national high school.

Lanete said that the lack of school buildings and other educational materials affect the learning of the students.

That’s why the solon filed House Bill 1079 to convert Salvacion High School into Salvacion National High School.

“The lack of schools buildings and educational equipment hamper the youth’s education, especially in Palanas, Masbate,” Lanete said.

“Affordable and readily accessible educational programs are still insufficient in the municipality.”

The solon said that by converting the said school into a national high school, students will receive “better quality of education.”

“This bill seeks to take a proactive step by establishing a program that would directly grant the people of Palanas immediate access to affordable and quality education,” he said.

“By converting Salvacion High School into a national high school, the people of Palanas will be exposed to a better quality of education brought about by additional funding and improvement of educational programs,” Lanete added.
