Wag pakagat! Naujan Mayor Mark Marcos calls for responsible pet ownwership
Pets bring love to our homes, but they shouldn’t be a nuisance in the streets.
Naujan Mayor Mark Marcos has called on his constituents to rein in their pets after expressing alarm at the rising number of incidents where dogs and cats bite people.
Marcos said the local government has long been calling on residents not to allow their pets to roam the streets freely as they spread dirt and garbage, but many failed to listen.
Some of them even try to shirk responsibility when their pets bite someone.
He warned that they shouldn’t wait for them to be bitten by their own pets before doing something.
People should be responsible pet owners, he added.
We can coexist peacefully with animals if we just do our duties!
BE A RESPONSIBLE PET OWNER!!!–Atty. Mark Navarro Marcos,” Marcos posted.
