Masbate VG Revil says motherhood taught her of self-love
This love month, Masbate Vice Governor Kaye Revil said that her motherhood taught her of self-love.
Revil just recently gave birth to her fifth child, Karisma Vie. She’s now under maternity leave.
“If there’s anything that #KarismaVieRevil baby is effectively reminding me all over again right now, which I intentionally do while on this maternity leave journey & that I think I ought to share is that of love for myself,” Revil shared.
“Yes, #selflove that is- for making sure I eat well, right & on time & for valuing good sleep & nourishment always. Yes all that, so I can be a healthy #breastfeeding mommy for her,” the Vice Governor added.
“That with my love for her, loving myself consciously has become necessary.”
The vice governor also told her fellow mommies to love themselves too.
“Yes mommies, it is true, we cannot give what we do not have. So it’s okay, love yourself, our children need that of us. After all, as the song goes- “Learning to love yourself- it is the greatest love of all.,” the Revil said.
