Naga Vice Mayor Nelson Legacion takes long walk for public service
Naga Vice Mayor Nelson Legacion is willing to walk long distances for the sake of the people he serves.
In a Facebook post, Legacion shared that he walked two kilometers to check on a dam in his city.
When he got there, he found that the dam, which is more than 70 years old, was destroyed by strong currents.
Since the dam is serving 30 farmers, a new one has to be built asap, he added.
Good thing he saw the problem himself so that quick action can be taken!
“WALKED about 2 kilometers before finally reaching our destination! It turned out that the dam which is more than 70 years old and serving about 30 farmers was destroyed by a very strong current of water. We have to build a new one soonest for the benefit of our farmers!” Legacion posted.
