Albay Board Member Vic Ziga Jr. is sad about the passing of Pinoy rock and roll icon Joey “Pepe” Smith.
Ziga paid tribute to Smith in a Facebook post, and wished him to rest in peace.
He also sent his condolences to the family of Smith, who will live on in Philippine music history for penning the rock anthem “Ang Himig Natin.”
Ziga said he will never forget Pepe Smith’s music.
Rock on in heaven, Mr. Smith!
