Catanduanes Gov. Boboy Cua has not forgotten slain Special Action Forces member Sr. Insp. Max Jim Tria.

The operation proved controversial and fatal after 44 SAF members were slain in en encounter with Moro fighters, an event blamed on the lack of cooperation with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.
In a Facebook post, Cua shared a photo of Tria and said the latter is never forgotten.
He shared his solidarity with Tria’s family, friends, fellow police officers and fellow Catanduanes residents in remembering Tria’s bravery and achievements.
Catanduanes will always be proud of him!
“FALLEN NOT FORGOTTEN.
Ang aming pakikiisa sa pamilya, kaibigan, kapulisan at mga kapwa Catandunganon sa pag-alala sa katapangan ni PSINP MAX JIM TRIA.
#TheLastManStanding,” Cua posted.
