Catanduanes Gov. Boboy Cua stays positive amid suspension

Catanduanes Gov. Joseph “Boboy” Cua has apparently found a silver lining amid his current woes.

The Department of Interior and Local Government has preventively suspended Cua in connection with an administrative complaint for allegedly allowing a construction firm owned by Mayor Eulogio Rodriguez of Bato to use a lot owned by the provincial government without authorization.

In a Facebook post, Cua shared a quote from Friedrich Nietzsche that may reflect his current disposition.

The quote goes: What does not kill you make you stronger.

After the suspension is over, maybe we could expect a stronger, more resilient governor!
