Ako Bicol partylist Rep. Alfredo Garbin reminisced the memories he shared with the slain solon Rodel Batocabe.

During a memorial held for the Ako Bicol’s first nominee last Monday at the House of Representatives, Garbin delivered a speech remembering the legacy of Batocabe.

The memorial for Batocabe was attended by his bereaved family as well as his colleagues and friends at the lower chamber.

Batocabe,” it added.

Garbin vowed to continue the initiatives and legacy in public service of Rep. Batocabe.

Rep. Batocabe and his aide SPO2 Orlando Diaz were killed last December 22 while attending a gift-giving event in Daraga, Albay.

Batocabe was serving his last term as congressman. He was vying for a mayoral seat in Daraga.

The PNP earlier tagged incumbent Daraga Mayor Carlwyn Baldo as the mastermind behind Batocabe’s killing.
