Ready to do business? Sorsogon Rep. Evelina Escudero helps make it easier for you

POLITIKO - The bible of Philippine Politics.
Sorsogon Rep. Evelina Escudero is very excited for solo entrepreneurs.
This is because the bill revising the country’s corporation code is set to be sent to the President for his signature soon.
Once this becomes a law, even one single person can form a corporation, unlike in the past where there has to be five persons.
This means more business opportunities would open up for individuals, who will now get to enjoy the benefits of being considered a corporation.
She is looking forward to the measure becoming a law.
We, too, can’t wait for more business-minded individuals to prosper!
“Aspiring solo entrepreneurs, this is for you!
Now passed in the bicameral conference committee, the Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines allows ONE person to form a corporation instead of five. This will not only provide more business options for solo entrepreneurs / businessmen but will also allow them to enjoy the benefits of being a corporation such as having a separate legal entity between the personal assets of the owner and the business itself.
With the support of Security and Exchange Commission and other stakeholders, we are looking forward for its passage into law,” Escudero posted on Facebook.
