Naga Mayor Bongat recites ‘Panatang Makabata’ as part of National Children’s Month Celebration


Naga City Mayor John Bongat has recited the “Panatang Makabata” together with the students of SEED Educare as part of Children’s Month celebration.

Mayor Bongat was joined by Councilor Elmer Baldemoro when they recited the said pledge during the flagraising ceremony at the City Hall.

“Pupils from SEED Educare recited the “Panatang Makabata” with Mayor John Bongat and Councilor Elmer Baldemoro this morning as part of the National Children’s Month Celebration…,” the city government said.

According to the city, all public and private offices, schools and organizations nationwide are “enjoined to recite the Panatang Makabata (pledge for children) on all Mondays of November during the flag raising ceremonies.”

Moreover, Mayor Bongat also recognized “exemplary children” John Carlo Pastor of Naga Central School II and Karen Kim Veloso of Tabuco Central School.

The two students was won the Regional Search for Exemplary Children 2018 brought by the DSWD’s Pantawid Pamilya Program.
