Occidental Mindoro Cong. Josephine Ramirez Sato is seeking another term to serve as the representative of the province at the lower House.

Rep. Sato filed her certificate of candidacy yesterday for her third and last term as congresswoman.

Sato is running under the Liberal Party.

Rep. Sato is a member of the powerful Commission on Appointments. She is known as the “Pride of Occidental Mindoro,” “Voice of MIMAROPA”, “Tiger Lady of the Commission on Appointments,” “Prolific Lawmaker” and “Global Thought Leader on biodiversity”

Sato also served as governor of Occidental Mindoro for three terms.

Meanwhile, Occidental Mindoro Governor Mario Gene Mendiola and Vice Governor Peter De Jesus Alfaro also filef their COCs yesterday.

Mendiola and Alfaro, running under the ruling party PDP-Laban, are also seeking their third and final term in office.
