Guinobatan’s PWDs, seniors get wheelchairs from Albay provincial gov’t

The Albay provincial government has recently distributed wheelchairs to senior ctizens and persons with disability in Guinobatan town.
The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) headed the distribution last Oct.6.
“The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, headed by Ms. Eva Grageda, together with Mayor Ann Gemma Ongjoco and staff are working on Saturday to provide assistive device (wheelchair) to 20 senior citizens and persons with disability,” the PSWDO said.
The officials personally visited the beneficiaries from various Guinobatan barangays.
“They went house to house in the different barangays of Guinobatan, Albay to personally visit and deliver their needed assistive device. #RainOrShine,” the office said.
“Thank you to the Provincial Government of Albay, headed by Gov. Al Francis Bichara, for the continuous support being given to our dear Seniors Citizens and PWDs,” it added.
Moreover, the office also held another Pay-out of Educational Assistance to PWD Students from municipalities of Malilipot, Bacacay and Sto. Domingo last October 3 and has served 237 beneficiaries.
“This was made possible with the support of the Provincial Government of Albay, spearheaded by Gov. Al Francis Bichara, through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, led by Ms. Eva Grageda,” said the office.
