The Palawan’s veterinary office has conducted held a rabies forum in two barangays in Roxas town last September 19.
The Provincial Veterinary Office (ProVet) held the Rabies Forum in Brgys. Tarandungan and Tagumpay as part of its intensified campaign agaist rabies.
Dr. Darius P. Mangcucang, Veterinaran I of ProVet, said that among the topics discussed were the proper way of taking care of the pets and the roles of local government in the enforcement of rabies ordinance in their areas.
Meanwhile, the ProVet urged the pet owners to have their pet vaccinated in order to prevent rabies infection.
Dr. Mangcucang said that there’s one case of rabies infection in Roxas town this year.
