Bichara leads inauguration of Albay engineering office’s new facilities

Albay Governor Al Francis Bichara has led the inauguration of new facilities of Provincial Engineer’s Office in Salugan, Camalig last September 17.

The new facilities include covered court, ready-line-bay, PGA DRR Central Warehouse, and Heavy/Light Equipment as well as vehicles for the PEO.

Bichara was joined by Provincial Engineer Dante Baclao in ribbon cutting, while Rev. Fr. Renato Robrigado, Parish Priest of Camalig, blessed the said facilities and equipment.

Bichara reminisced the first time he visited the Provincial Engineer’s Office upon returning to office as a Governor.

“When I first visited your engineering compound, it wasn’t in a very feasible condition; daeng atop, dae kamo equipments, so I started scraping the bottom of the barrel to source for funds.” he said.

The Governor also said that there are still lots of improvements that needs to be done as he vowed to continue to support the PEO.

“We try to be the best, have the best motorpool. And I hope I can have the best team here in the engineering office.” Governor Bichara added.

BM Dante Arandia, AKO BICOL Reps. Rodel Batocabe and Christopher Co, and Maguindanao 2nd District, Zajid “Dong” Mangudadatu were also present during the inauguration.
