Albay’s information office conducts seminar on news gathering, writing for Capitol employees

For better and efficient dissemination of information, the Albay Provincial Information Office held a seminar on news writing for Capitol employees.

Provincial Information Officer Mr. Leonardo Flores spearheaded the seminar on newsgathering, news writing, and fair gender language seminar and workshop at the Albay provincial Capitol Red Conference Room last Friday.

The said seminar was pursuant to the order of Governor Al Francis Bichara to ensure that programs of the Capitol are properly disseminated to the public.

“As a mandate by Albay Governor Al Francis Bichara to ensure the expeditious dissemination of data to the public, the seminar gathered representatives from the various departments and district hospitals of the PGA to develop their skills in producing clear and concise information for the Albayanos,” the provincial government said.

“The aim was to consolidate the efforts of the various departments and combine their different channels, such as social media, so that information can be delivered instantaneously on a wider scope,” it added.

The province said that the department and hospital representatives present during the seminar will act as the focal persons for their offices so that easy collaboration can be established.
