The Palawan Anti-Drug Abuse Program (PADAP), in partnership with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), held a drug-clearing enhancement program last September 6.

The event was attended by local chief executives of various towns and cities in Palawan as well as chiefs police and Municipal and Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse officers.

PDEA MIMAROPA Director Mario DA Ramos served as the guest of honor together with PDEA MIMAROPA Angeline M. Cusi.

Director Ramos said that illegal drugs remain to be a challenge, specially amid the issues hounding the “war on drugs” of President Rodrigo Duterte.

“Ipinangako niya na mas pagiibayuhin pa ang komunikasyon sa bawat isa kahit na magkakalayo ang mga probinsya sa MIMAROPA na kailangan nitong dayuhin,” the province said.
