A 23-strong team of trainors, coaches, and staff from the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) have arrived in Albay today for the province’s first-ever sports summit.

“One of the coaches for the Athletics team is former Olympian, Elma Muros-Posadas, known as the “Long Jump Queen” and a stalwart for the Philippine team for many international competitions, such as the Olympics, Asian Games, Asian Athletics Championships, and a holder of various Philippine records,” said the province.
Members of the PSC team paid a courtesy call to the office of Dr. Arnulfo M. Mascarinas, President of Bicol University, and was welcomed by Dr. Helen Llenaresas, VP for Academic Affairs, and Professor Jerry Bigornia VP for Planning and Development.
They also visited the venues that will be used for the different activities.
