Oriental Mindoro Gov. Umali lauds efforts of PNP to eradicate illegal drugs

Oriental Mindoro Governor Alfonso Umali, Jr. has lauded the efforts of the Philippine National Police in his province to eradicate the illegal drugs.

The governor served as one of the guests during the inauguration of a new PNP Station located inside the Calapan City Hall complex.

“Dumalo si Gov. Alfonso V. Umali, Jr. sa inagurasyon at pagpapasinaya ng bagong gusali ng Calapan City Police Station sa Brgy. Guinobatan, Lungsod ng Calapan,” the provincial government said.

Present during the event were local government officials of Calapan City led by Mayor Arnan Panaligan, Vice Mayor Gil Ramirez and other Sangguniang Panglungsod members.

Also present were Police Regional Office MIMAROPA Regional Director PCSupt Emmanuel Luis D Licup, Deputy Regional Director for Administration PCSupt Froilan Quidilla, Deputy Regional Director for Operation PSSupt Ferdinand Garay and other officials of PRO MIMAROPA, Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office Provincial Director PSSupt Christopher Birung, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration PSupt Jaycees Tolentino, and City Prosecutor Dorina Joya, among others.

“Binati ni Gov. Umali ang Calapan City Police Station na pinamumunuan ni PSupt Efraim Camara bilang hepe gayundin ang lahat ng nagtulong – tulong upang maisakatuparan ang proyekto,” the province said.

“Ipinahayag rin ni Gov, Umali ang kasiyahan sa maayos na pagpapatupad ng PNP sa lalawigan ng Oplan Tokhang nang walang nasasawi. Nanawagan ang Ama ng Lalawigan sa pagpapatuloy ng mapayapang kampanya ng kapulisan kontra illegal na droga at kriminalidad sa Oriental Mindoro,” it added.
