New milestone! Calapan Mayor Panaligan leads inauguration of new PNP building at City Hall complex
Calapan City Mayor Arnan Panaligan has led the inauguration of a new city police station located at the City Hall Complex yesterday.
The new two-storey police building was constructed in a 1,000-square-meter lot donated by the city government to the Philippine National Police.
“City Mayor Arnan C. Panaligan led city and police officials at the inauguration of the new 2 storey Calapan City Police Station located within the City Hall Complex at the City Government Center,” the mayor’s office said.
“The lot was donated to the Philippine National Police by the City Government of Calapan,” it added.
The PNP funded the construction of the modern facility amounting to P14 million.
Police Regional Director CSupt Emmanuel D. Licup served as the guest oh honor during the event.
Also present during the inauguration were Oriental Mindoro Gov. Alfonso Umali, Jr., City Vice Mayor Gil Ramirez, City Administrator Atty. Adel C. Abas and other City Government Department Heads, City Councilors, Provincial Police Director SSupt Christopher Birung, City Chief of Police Supt Ephraim A. Camara and other police officials.
