Sara Duterte visits CamSur to grace environmental events
Davao City Mayor and presidential daughter Sara Duterte has visited Camarines Sur to grace environmental events in the province.
CamSur Gov. Miguel Villafuerte and his father Rep. LRay Villafuerte welcomed Duterte in the province.
“All smiles today as we officially launched the rehabilitation and protection of another main tributary of the Bicol River,” the younger Villafuerte said.
“Environmental protection is a priority for us. Camsur is an awardee of DENR’s highest environmental award—Saringaya Award 2018!,” Migz added.
The Governor also said that he is “proud” that CamSur was recognized as one of the best practice in Integrated Coastal Management by the Biodiversity Management Bureau.
“Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng El Verde Movement warriors at sa aming guest of honor, ang napakabait at sipag, Mayor Sara Duterte, sa pagdalo sa aming okasyon at sa pagshare ng mga sustainable development programs of Davao City!,” Migz said.
Duterte also graced the several events such as Kabataan at Kalikasan: An Environmental Youth Forum, Induction of El Verde Youth Provincial Federation Officers, among others.
“Thank you, Inday Sara, for inspiring our youth and for sharing with us sustainable development programs in Davao City that we may be able to replicate in our province,” said Miguel.
“For everyone’s information, Mayor Sara is an adopted daughter of Camsur as she and Davao City are one of the firsts to send aide when our province was hit and devastated by Typhoon Nina last 2016. Maraming Maraming Salamat po, Inday Sara!,” he added.
