Calapan Mayor Panaligan distributes Gold Cards to residents of Brgy. Sta Rita

Calapan City Mayor Arnan Panaligan has led the distribution of Gold Card to the residents of Brgy. Sta Rita.

The Gold Card is the socialized health and medical program of Mayor Panaligan.

“City Mayor Arnan C. Panaligan distributes Gold Card ID cards to the residents of Bgy. Sta. Rita, Calapan City as beneficiaries of the expanded Gold Card program…,” Panaligan’s office said.

The coverage of Gold Card has been expanded to include other laboratory procedures.

Aside from hospital room and doctor’s fees, the card now covers expenses for diagnostic procedures such as ct scan, ultrasound, 2d echo, magnetic resonance imaging, mammogram, colonoscopy, among others.

“Mas pinalawak na benepisyo ng Gold Card program, ang mga mahihirap na mamamayan ang nakikinabang, serbisyong pang-kalusugan, ngayon ay abot-kaya na ng mga pangkaraniwang tao,” Panaligan’s office said.

“Tatak ng mapag-kalinga at may malasakit na paglilingkod,” it added.

Moreover, Panaligan also distributed Philhealth ID cards to indigents, persons with disabilities, barangay health workers and day care workers.

“The City Government paid for the premiums of the Philhealth insurance. With City Mayor Arnan C. Panaligan were City Social Welfare and Development Officer Juvy Bahia, City Population Officer Dr. Ma. Teresa Bolor and Ms. Ellen Diokno of Philhealth,” the office said.
