Catanduanes eyed as a possible location of an indie film, Rep. Sarmiento says
The beauty of the Province of Catanduanes could possibly be featured on a Cinemalaya film.
Rep. Cesar Sarmiento has met today with a group of independent filmmaker to discuss the possibility of making Catanduanes the location of their upcoming film.
Sarmiento, the chairman of House transportation, represents the lone district of Catanduanes at the lower chamber.
The office said that the film is a great opportunity to showcase the potential of the province.
The Congress is currently taking sine die adjournment but Sarmiento has devoted his time working on national transportation concerns, updates on the power issues in Catanduanes, Legalization of UV express and Abaca funding for farmers.
