13 youth from Brazil, Africa, Germany Mexico visit Palawan Capitol for Genfest event

Thirteen youth from Brazil, Africa, Germany, and Mexico have visited the Palawan Capitol for this year’s Genfest.

“Sila ay nasa Pilipinas ngayon upang maging partisipante sa isasagawang Genfest, isang aktibidad ng simbahang Katoliko na pinangungunahan ng Focolare Movement na may layuning magkaisa ang bawat tao saan man nagmula at ano man ang kinagisnang kultura, lahi, paniniwala at relihiyon,” the province said.

Provincial Administrator Atty. Joshua Bolusa, Provincial Tourism Officer Maribel Buñi and Chief of Staff Ceasar Sammy Magbanua welcomed the youth when they visited the Governor’s office.

The three Capitol officials shared information about the province, particularly about the tourism in the province and the programs of Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez.

“Sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ay naghanda ang Kapitolyo ng isang aktibidad na tinaguriang Barrio Fiesta para sa naturang mga panauhin sa ika-4 ng Hulyo sa Victoriano J. Rodriguez Hall. Sa pamamagitan nito ay maipararanas sa kanila ang kultura ng mga Palaweño na maaari nilang maikwento pagbalik nila sa kanilang mga bansa,” the province said.

“Bukod dito ay inaasahan din ang pagsasagawa nila ng iba’t ibang aktibidad tulad ng tree planting, island hopping tours at mga seminars,” it added.

The Genfest will be held on July 6 to 8 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. Part of the activity is for the participants to visit different parts of the country.
