Villafuertes launch design for new iconic Cam Sur capitol
Three generations of Villafuertes are working together to build a new capitol building that they hope would become a truly iconic landmark in the province.
On Facebook, Camarines Sur Rep. LRay Villafuerte shared the design of the pili-nut inspired building, which would be surrounded by much greenery.
LRay launched the new design with his son, Camarines Sur Gov. Migz Villafuerte, and his father, the province’s former representative Luis Villafuerte.
LRay said the new capitol building, conceptualized by Caza Architects, would put the province on the world map.
It would also symbolize its aspirations, which include hope and a transparent vision of government, he said.
Let’s hope this will be a lasting legacy!
