The Occidental Mindoro provincial board has sought the explanation of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) over the status of infrastructure projects in the province.

The Provincial Board, led by Vice Governor Peter de Jesus Alfaro and Board Member Edwin Mintu, particularly wanted to inquire about the Lumintao Bridge.

Engr. Danilo Muniz, Chief, Maintenance Section, District Office of the DPWH, represented the department during the meeting.

Peter J. Alfaro at Bokal Edwin Mintu – Chairman, Committee on Infrastructure,” it added.

Muniz said that the repair would be finished in five days, and revealed that a new bridge will be built in 2019 to replace the current bridge.
