Calapan City council tackles proposed management plan for Caluangan Lake
The Calapan City council has recently discussed the proposed management plan for the Calapan (Caluangan) Lake.
“Naging panauhin sa pagpupulong na ito sina Dr. Guererro at Dr. Antonio Alcantara na pawang mga contractors, ito ay upang ipresenta sa Sanggunian ang Proposed Management Plan para sa Calapan (Caluangan) Lake,” the city government said.
The management plan includes the Navigational Fishing, Eco-tourism, Aquaculture at Agro-tourism sites.
Also present during the session were City Fisheries Management Office’s Mr. Willy Landicho and Dr. Marius Panahon.
“Nakibahagi din sa talakayan ang ilang kasapi at opisyales ng Mindoro movement for Change na pinamumunuan ni Mr. Willy Lao,” the city government said.
The city council also passed several ordinances and resolutions such as the Ordinance supplementing Chapter II, Article VI and amending Book II, Chapter II, Section 26 of City Ordinance No. 26, Series of 2008 “An Ordinance Providing for a Gender and Development Code (GAD) of the City of Calapan and for other purposes” and Ordinance amending Sections 8, 31, and 35 and further supplementing the Child Welfare Code of the City of Calapan.
Also passed was the ordinance amending Sections 19, 20, and 26 of the Calapan City Investment Incentive Code
Resolitions approved were:
Resolution recommending the approval of the supplemental Annual Investment Plan utilizing the unexpended balance as of December 2017 from the 20% Local Development Fund P4,268,252.68; and
Resolution recommending the approval of the supplemental Annual Investment Plan utilizing the unexpended balance as of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Fund (LDRRMF) for CY 2017 P13, 733,696.90) to other equally important Disaster Risk Reduction Programs/Projects/Activities and for other purposes.
