Sa tindahan pinatay: Caliber 45 armed-gunman kills Albay barangay chairman
Police in Albay province are tracking down the gunman who killed an incumbent barangay chairman in Libon town in Albay last week.
Myrna Armillo, chief of Barangay Harigue, was shot while she was manning her store last Thursday night, May 31.
Bicol police spokesperson Senior Inspector Maria Luisa Calubaquib said [initial information showed the gunman shot the victim with a cal-.45 handgun at 8:15 p.m.
Calubaquib said they are still gathering information on the identity of the killer and the motive behind the crime (http://northboundasia.com/2018/06/02/village-chief-gunned-down-in-albay/).
Armillo was rushed to a nearby hospital but doctors there declared her dead.
