Palawan’s Operation Centers employees undergo basic life support, first aid training
Nurses and responders designated in Operation Centers in Palawan municipalities are currently undergoing a five-day Basic Life Support Training for Health Care Providers with Standard First Aid Training.
The training started last April 9 at the A&A Hotel, in Puerto Princesa City.
“Naanyayahang mga tagapagsalita sa naturang pagsasanay ang mga kawani mula sa Provincial Health Office (PHO), City Health Office (CHO), City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), Palawan Rescue 165 at Ospital ng Palawan (ONP),” the province said.
On the first day of training, basic life support and first aid to the victims were discussed.
“Tinalakay din ang ilang module patungkol sa Respiratory Arrest and Rescue Breathing, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation, Automated External Defibrillator at Foreign Body Airway Obstruction Management,” said the province.
The training will also feature skills demonstration in between discussion.
“Ang pagsasanay na ito ay isa lamang sa marami pang pagsasanay na inihanda ng PDRRMO upang mas mapalakas ang pwersa ng mga responders sa lalawigan ng Palawan na tutugon tuwing panahon ng sakuna,” said the province.
