Calapan City Vice Mayor Gil Ramirez has expressed his gratitude to all those who came and donated blood during the mass bloodletting activity of the city.

Last March 19, the City Blood Council held its first mass bloodletting activity spearheaded by the Vice Mayor with the goal of beefing up the stocks of blood in the city.

Ramirez said that Calapeños are “open” with the idea of donating blood to save lives.

The City Blood Council initially targeted 500 bags of blood donation, but it only yielded 440 during the event.

But nevertheless, Ramirez expressed gratitude to all who supported the event.
