Masbate VG Revil finally meets people behind foundation that granted her scholarship
Masbate Vice Governor Kaye Revil finally met the people behind the foundation which granted her scholarship to study federalism in Austria and Italy last month.
The vice governor vowed that the knowledge she gained in the Winter School on Federalism and Governance because of the scholarship granted by the Hanns Seidel Foundation will be put to good use.
Revil bagged the prestigious scholarship grant thanks to the recommendation of former Senate President Aquilino “Nene” Pimentel, Jr. and his son current Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III.
“Finally met the people behind Hanns Seidel Foundation, the ones who granted my scholarship to the Winter School on Federalism & Governance held in Austria & Italy, as per recommendation of Former Senate President Nene Pimentel & SP Senate President Koko Pimentel to them,” shared Revil in her Facebook account.
The vice-governor said she “submitted my report and discussed my learnings with them.”
“Modesty aside, they told me they think I can be called an expert already capable of being a resource person on the issue,” she said.
However, Revil said that she still has “so much to learn day in and day out” but added that she is willing to help and “pay forward the knowledge” she gained.
“Thank you so much Ma’am Carole & Sir Götz for making me feel worthy of the scholarship grant. Rest assured it has not been in vain,” said Revil.
