Even the bakwit need to play! Legazpi Councilor Lilian Ramirez provides toys to evacuees

It’s not just the physical needs of the evacuees from Mayon Volcano’s eruption that have to be addressed.

While the displaced residents need basic things such as food, medicine, and shelter the most, it is also important to take care of their other needs.

Officials are finding it important as well to lift their sagging spirits, especially that of the children.

Legazpi Councilor Lilian Ramirez did her part by distributing toys to children in evacuation center and spending time with them.

Not only did she boost her spirit, but the act made her happy as well.

Generosity pays off in more ways than one!

“So happy to share my time and toys for our children of Mayon Evacuees,” Ramirez posted on Facebook.
