“[D]uring the briefing this morning presided by sec harry roque: phivolcs director, usec renato solidum informed the mayors and media that based on the activities of mt.mayon measured by their office does not pose danger beyond the 6km permanent danger zone,” Mayor Rosal said.

“[C]onsidering that our bgys are within the 8-9 km extended danger zone, Legazpi city was already cleared for decampment as of 3pm [yesterday],” the mayor said.

However, the mayor also cautioned his constituents to prepare just in case the Alert Status of mayon will be raised to Alert Level 4.

“mga kababayan balik muna sila sa kani kanilang bahay sa ngayon.salamat sa lahat ng mga tumulong pero patuloy pa din ang paghanda natin sakaling magpatuloy ito,” said Mayor Rosal.
