More than 100 Reforming Drug Surrenderees from El Nido Palawan are expected to complete their Community Enhancement and Livelihood Program (CELP), a community-based rehabilitation program of the Palawan provincial government.

The province said that 103 drug surrenderees from four barangays in E Nido, namely; Brgy. Masagana, Corong-Corong, Buena Suerte at Villa Libertad, will graduate from the program tomorrow, January 17. The ceremony will be held at the Municipal Covered Court of Palawan.

Under the CELP, surrenderees are given support and guidance to give them another shot in life and help them stand on their feet again, with a new and positive outlook in life.

The Palawan Provincial government spearheaded the CELP, in partnership with the El Nido municipal government, barangay chairmen, Philippine National Police, Inter-Faith Organizations, Philippine Marines and Community Care Team (CCT).
