Sto. Domingo, Albay Mayor Herbie Aguas is headed to snowy Gangwon province in South Korea, the site of the forthcoming olympic winter games and one of the favorite destinations of Koreanovela-crazy pinoys.
No, the politiko is not competing in any of the games. He has been invited to the attend the Asia Pacific Global Leaders Convention to be held there from February 11 to 15.
And his town doesn’t have to worry about funding the trip, because his transportation, accommodation and meals will be shouldered by Gangwon province.
An elated mayor shared a copy of his invitation letter on Facebook and expressed his gratitude for this opportunity.
It’s an offer that’s too good to pass up!
