Palawan provincial gov’t thanks donors for storm victims under the Operation: Tabang Casimanua

The province of Palawan has expressed its gratitude to all provincial Capitol employees and other private individuals and non-government organizations or who donated for the victims of tropical storms in the province.

The Provicial Government has recently launched the Operation: Tabang Casimanua to seek help for the families affected storms that hit the province, particularly the southern part of Palawan

For her part, Board Member Onda said shes’ “[t]hankful to be part of this endeavor in my own little way.”

Under the Operation: Tabang Casimanua, the provincial government of Palawan is now focusing on helping the victims of Tropical Storm Vinta in Mangsee Island to rebuild their destroyed houses.

The province said that Vinta brought “unimaginable destruction” in Mangsee Island located in the southwest of Balabac, Palawan and home to about 10,000 people.

“Rebuilding a community from a pile of debris takes time and many hands are needed to do the work. The bayanihan collective spirit among Filipinos and among Palaweňos will once again be put to litmus test,” the province said.
