Educations tops Migz, LRay Villafuerte’s priority for CamSur
Education really takes the forefront of the priority programs of Camarines Sur Governor Miguel Villafuerte and his father Camarines Sur Rep. Luis Raymund “LRay” Villafuerte.
Just recently, the father and son tandem inaugurated a two-storey school building in Minabalac National High School.
The younger Villafuerte said that in the second district, his father LRay has already lined up 20 school buildings to be constructed.
“We, together with Cong. Lray Villafuerte, inaugurated a two-storey school building at Minalabac National High School,” Migz said.
“In the 2nd district alone, Cong. Lray already lined up some 20-classroom school buildings to be constructed in different schools in the district,” he added.
The young governor also reiterated that the education sector is one of the top priorities of his administration and vowed to build more classrooms and school buildings in the province.
“Further, more school buildings shall be constructed around the province in the coming years as reiteration that education is top priority of our administration,” Migz Villafuerte said.
The governor ealier said that as of now, there are more than 20,000 students in Camarines Sur who have benefited from scholarships and educational assistance from the provincial government.
“To date, the Provincial Capitol has already extended scholarships and educational assistance to over 20,000 students in the province,” Villafuerte said.
However, the efforts to “strengthen” the educational programs do not stop there as Villafuerte vowed to zero in on the education sector in the coming years.
“In the years to come, we vow to keep education as a priority of this administration and we will continue to strengthen educational programs that will benefit the youth of Camarines Sur,” he said.
