Party sa baha? No rain or flood can stop his constituents celebrating the holidays, says Naujan Mayor Mark Marcos

Christmas is a special holiday for many Filipinos, and not even bad weather can stop them from celebrating the season.
Naujan, Oriental Mindoro Mayor Mark Marcos marveled at the resiliency of the residents of Anoling or Evangelista in his town as they did not lose their cheer even if their barangay was among those flooded by the typhoons that came in December.
On Facebook, Marcos noted that the residents decided to go ahead with their celebrations, and the children, especially, couldn’t be more excited.
They won’t let the rain dampen their spirits!
“Kahit isa sa mga barangay na nakararanas ng pagbaha, masasaya pa rin ang mga tagaAnoling o Evangelista lalo na ang mga kabataan na magdaraos mamaya ng kanilang Christmas Party. Dumaan sa kanila ang Punumbayan na nagbisita kanina sa District 7,” the mayor posted.
