Palawan gov’t launches Operation: Tabang Casimanua for victims of storm Vinta
The Provincial Government of Palawan has lauched Operation: Tabang Casimanua to seek help for the families affected by the Tropical Storm Vinta.
“Ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Palawan ay naglunsad ng Operation: TABANG CASIMANUA upang mangalap ng tulong para sa ating mga kababayan na residente ng Barangay Mangsee, Balabac, Palawan at mga karatig na isla na sinalanta ng bagyong Vinta noong Disyembre 24, 2017,” the province said.
“Kapit-bisig po nating tulungang makaahon ang ating mga kapatid na biktima ng kalamidad na ito,” it added.
The provincial government has launched hotlines for those who want to help and donate for the affected families due to the storm.

The Palawan provincial government has already kicked off relief efforts for thousands of families who have evacuated due to Tropical Storm Vinta.
Starting December 24, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (PDRRMC) has already held monitoring and response activity to assist the residents affected by the storm in 11 local government units in the province.
The meeting on December 24 was led by Palawan Vice Governor Dennis M. Socrates and representatives fro the PDRRMO, WESCOM, Philippine National Police, Philippine Coast Guard, Provincial Health Office, Rescue 165, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, Interior and Local Department, among others.
