The provincial government of Palawan has already started preparing for the threat of the tropical storm Urduja.

The province of Palawan has already gearing up with the onslaught of the tropical storm Urduja as the province has already discussed its preventive measures

The Palawan’s Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) held a meeting this afternoon to discuss the preparation for the possible wrath of Urduja which is expected to landfall in the province by Monday.

Provincial Administrator Atty. Joshua U. Bolusa has already tasked Rescue 165 Program Manager Richristopher Magbanua to prepare its rescue trucks, the 900 family food packs and 571 sacks of rice to be distributed to the expected affected families.

Sonny N. Pajarilla, officer-in-charge ng Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astrological Services Administration (PAGASA)-Palawan Office, said that the tropical storm Urduja has yet to affect the province.
