Masbate City Mayor Tuason recognizes most child-friendly schools
Masbate City Mayor Rowena Tuason has recently awarded the most child-friendly schools in her city during her State of the Children Adress last week.
Tuason’s address centered on the “real situation” of the children.
“These include the programs and projects on children that we implement in coordination with the different line agencies,” said Tuason.
During the event, the city government hailed the most child friendly schools.
Jose zurbito Sr. Elementary School was named most-child friendly school and bagged a cash prize of P50,0000.
Enrique Legaspi Sr. Elementary School came in second with P30,000 followed by Bantigue Elementary School with P20,000.
Third runner up was Governor Rafael Letada Memorial Elementary School with P10,000 followed by Batuhan East Elementary School with P7,000 cash prize.
According to Tuason, the JZSES will use the money to additional CCTV cameras to be installed in the campus.
Tuason also congratulated Timoteo T Buncaras Elementary School and its faculty for being Hall of Fame Awardee.
“The City Government of Masbate congratulates the winners during the recently concluded Search for Child Friendly School,” said Tuason.
