Long live Lolo Jess! Albay Vice Gov. Harold Ong Imperial pays tribute to former Mayor Jesus Salceda Sr. on his passing, condoles with family
The Salceda family is mourning the passing of former Polangui, Albay Mayor Jesus Salceda Sr., and Albay Vice Governor Harold Ong Imperial has offered words of comfort to his grieving loved ones.
While “Lolo Jess” has passed on, his memory and legacy are sure to live on, Imperial said on his Facebook page.
Because of Lolo Jess, every Albayano will remember the Salceda name, which is already part of the province’s political history.
He leaves behind his loved ones who have made names for themselves in politics as well, including Albay Rep Joey Salceda, Board Member Jesap Salceda, Polangui Mayor Jesciel Salceda, and Association of Barangay Councils President Adrian Salceda.
“In the circle of life, death is part. And upon death, legacy and memory live on forever. By that, the legacy and memory of Mayor Jesus ‘Lolo Jess’ Salceda, Sr. will therefore live on with every Albayano forever, just as he had catapulted the Salceda namesake into the annals of political history.
My sincerest condolences, sympathies and prayers to the bereaved family of Lolo Jess, especially to my colleagues in public service–Albay 2D Congressman Joey Sarte Salceda, Board Member Jesap Salceda, Polangui Councilor Jesciel Richard Salceda and ABC President Adrian Salceda–and the whole Salceda clan. May the good Lord embrace you in this time of grief,” Imperial said on Facebook.
