No territorial dispute here! Pinamalayan, Socorro mayors set boundaries
The Oriental Mindoro towns of Pinamalayan and Socorro have shown that there’s no need for any aggression when it comes to territorial matters.
Pinamalayan Mayor Aristeo Baldos and Socorro Mayor Bubut Brondial and their respective vice mayors recently signed an agreement setting the boundaries of their towns.
The agreement is expected to help their towns prosper, since any question about each of their territories has been resolved.
Mayor Baldos said this agreement was truly a legacy they can leave to their constituents.
Now if only competing countries could resolve their territorial disputes as easily as this.
