Naga City champions rights, privileges of PWDs
The City government of Naga has conducted a summit that aims to discuss the rights and privileges of persons with disabilities (PWDs).
The two-day seminar, which ends today, was spearheaded by the Naga City Council for the Disability Affairs.
The council is co-chaired by Councilor Elmer Baldemoro.
The seminar focused on bringing together other government instrumentalities to protect the rights of PWDs.
“[T]his seminar aims to involve other local government agencies and offices, and even the barangay councils of Naga, in the city’s thrust to protect and uphold the laws safeguarding the rights of the PWD sector,” the City of Naga said.
